In May of this year 2016, Panerai announced that they will release a watch known as Luminor Due. You can read about all the Panerai Luminor Due models here. The time has come and these watches are finally here. The first model to arrive is called PAM00674 Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic.
The Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days automatic is their answer to the public’s demand for a thinner profile Lumionor watch. It opens up the market for so many more potential consumers who may have never looked twice at the brand initially.
This watch is stainless steel and 45 mm in case diameter. This is only slightly thicker than the hand wound versions at 10.7mm. The functions include; Hours, Minutes, Small Seconds. It’s powered by the in house P.4000 automatic self winding 3 day movement. This will retail for $10,700.
By creating the NEW P.4000 in house caliber movement and working with the case have allowed the best designers out there to be able to reduce the case by 40%. All this by simultaneously maintaining the integrity of the brand while moving forward.
