Swatch Unveils Stellar Mission to the Moon “Cold Moon” : A Lunar Finale for 2023
Today, Swatch has released the final MoonSwatch model in their Mission to the Moon collection for 2023, “Cold Moon.” Four days ago, the brand took to their Instagram to announce a unique feature in their watch design based off of moonlight: yellow gold alloy second hands that were only made during full moon dates were produced during production of The Mission to the Moon seconds hand is handcrafted from OMEGA Moonshine (TM) gold and features delicate snowflake designs to pay homage to “Cold Moon.” Additionally, this watch features a detail that illuminates, enhancing its appeal with an extra touch of interest. Like all other Moon Swatches this is limited but not numbered. These will be harder to get than the other Moon Swatches.
MoonSwatch Moonshine gold series watches have been continuously introduced since March; and one particularly well received model was launched this August: a Neptune themed watch pictured above.
Mission to the Moon “Cold Moon” is a 42mm diameter watch with 13.25mm thickness that features an ergonomic velcro band and bioceramic case. Powered by quartz technology and featuring water resistance up to 30 meters.
It will be available exclusively at Swatch stores starting today, priced at $300 just $30 more than the regular Moon Swatches of $270. Like its predecessor models, this model should become an instant hit and immensely popular among collectors and watch enthusiasts alike.
