Understated Sophistication, Timeless Craft

There is no other brand in its price point that does minimalist Bauhaus design better than Nomos Glashutte. They continue to refine their modern classics. This time, the Minimatik 39 Date, a slim, elegant watch with precision at its core. Designed for everyday wear, the 39.5mm case offers refinement, minimalism, and a discreet nod to horological excellence.

Elegant Display with a Golden Touch

First and foremost, the Minimatik 39 Date displays the current date with effortless clarity. The date window sits at 3 o’clock, subtly positioned on the outer edge of the dial. Framed in gold, it’s a quiet reference to the in-house NOMOS DUW 4601 caliber ticking inside. Introduced in late 2024, this movement adds both function and finesse.

Classic Case, Built for Today

Crafted from polished stainless steel, the case measures 39.5mm across and only 7.5mm thick, offering a refined profile. Additionally, it features a domed sapphire crystal and transparent caseback, giving you a full view of the movement. Water-resistant to 50 meters, it’s ready for daily use without compromising elegance for the competitive price of $3,220.

German Engineering Beneath the Dial

Powered by the in- house manual-wind DUW 4601 caliber, this model brings precision and innovation. The movement features 23 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a 52-hour power reserve. Moreover, it includes NOMOS’s patented date mechanism and the proprietary Swing System. Finishing details like a blued balance spring, skeletonized balance cock, and Glashütte three-quarter plate further elevate the movement. Rhodium-plated surfaces shine with sunbeam ribbing, Perlage, and gold-plated engravings.

Two Dial Options with Timeless Character

The galvanized dial comes in either white silver-plated or dark blue finishes. In addition, rhodium-plated or gilded hands complement the dial. Dot indices and Arabic numerals add subtle legibility without cluttering the design.

Horween Leather for a Classic Finish

The watch is paired with a 20mm Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan leather strap, available in black or brown. A steel pin buckle keeps the look clean and secure.

At the end of the day…

The NOMOS Minimatik 39 Date isn’t just a beautiful timepiece—it’s a masterclass in minimalist design and German precision. With its slim profile, refined details, and in-house innovation, it effortlessly balances tradition with modern functionality. Whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual, this is a watch that quietly speaks volumes.

Due to the unpredictable and volatile market on certain Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet watches, prices are subject to change.
