Autodromo drops the NEW Monoposto Mobil 1
Who is Autodromo?
When it comes to automotive-inspired watch brands that truly capture the spirit of motoring, Autodromo is one name that stands out to me immediately! But who are they, and why should you care?
Founded in 2011 by Bradley Price, Autodromo is an independent watch brand born from a deep passion for cars and design. Price, who grew up in a car-obsessed household, pursued a career in industrial design in New York City but found himself uninspired by the repetitive nature of consumer product design. That all changed when he took his Alfa Romeo GTV6 on a drive through the Hudson Valley and became mesmerized by the typography of the car’s tachometer. This moment sparked the idea to create timepieces that translate the beauty of vintage automotive instrumentation into wearable art.
Unlike mass-market lifestyle brands, Autodromo is a deeply personal project that embodies the thrill of classic motoring. Every watch is meticulously designed to evoke the nostalgia of motorsport and the craftsmanship of automotive heritage, making it a favorite among collectors, enthusiasts, and design lovers alike. Today, the brand has cultivated a dedicated following, consistently pushing the boundaries with unique, emotionally driven designs that bridge the worlds of horology and automotive culture.

Latest release- Monoposto Mobil 1
The Monoposto Mobil 1™ Edition is a bold reimagining of one of Autodromo’s most iconic and collectible racing-inspired timepieces. Inspired by classic motorsport tachometers, this officially licensed collaboration with ExxonMobil features a gloss white dial, accented by the legendary red Pegasus—symbolizing speed, precision, and power.
Designed for exclusivity, the Autodromo Monoposto Mobil 1™ Edition is available in two finishes: just 100 pieces in polished stainless steel and only 50 pieces in gold-tone, making it a must-have for serious collectors and motorsport enthusiasts. Each individually numbered timepiece is presented in a premium collector’s box, adding to its prestige and desirability.
Under the hood, the Monoposto Mobil 1™ Edition is powered by the Japan-made Miyota 9039 Automatic Movement—a high-beat, 24-jewel caliber renowned for its precision and reliability.
Priced at just $875, this limited-edition timepiece delivers exceptional value, seamlessly blending heritage-inspired design, racing nostalgia, and superior craftsmanship into one extraordinary watch.
The Ultimate Wrist Instrument
Inspired by the oversized tachometers of 1950s Grand Prix cars, the Autodromo Monoposto pays homage to the golden era of motorsport. Its name, derived from the Italian word for “Single Seater,” reflects its deep connection to vintage racing heritage.
Designed for maximum visual impact, the Monoposto features a 42mm case with a deliberately large dial opening and slim bezel, creating a bold yet elegant wrist presence. Despite its size, the wire lugs and 46mm lug-to-lug measurement and 11mm thickness ensure a comfortable fit, even on smaller wrists. This edition is also the first and only variant of the Monoposto to feature a “stripe delete” crystal, making it a standout piece in the collection.
Completing the vintage-inspired aesthetic, the handmade Italian buffalo leather strap is paired with a polished stainless steel roller buckle, designed to evoke the hood straps of classic Grand Prix cars. The Monoposto isn’t just a watch—it’s a timeless tribute to the art of racing and precision engineering.
At the end of the day…
From my personal experience as an Autodromo watch owner, I can confidently say that Bradley Price delivers more than just a beautifully designed timepiece—he creates a holistic, high-quality product that tells a story. Every detail, from concept and execution to packaging, is meticulously thought out, resulting in a watch that evokes a deep emotional connection—something very few brands have been able to achieve.
The NEW Monoposto Mobil 1™ Edition is no exception. It seamlessly blends vintage motorsport heritage with modern craftsmanship, giving the wearer the look and feel of a contemporary racing gauge on the wrist. With its limited-edition exclusivity, automotive-inspired design, and precision engineering, this timepiece is a true collector’s dream—one that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on any motorsport or watch enthusiast.
Due to the unpredictable and volatile market on certain Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet watches, prices are subject to change.
