On March 18, 2017, Antoquorum will offer a rare Patek Philippe Ref. 3939 in pink gold at auction in Hong Kong! This watch is Tourbillon Minute Repeater with enamel dial in pink gold. It is an exceptional minute repeating, 18K pink gold wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon regulator and 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Sold on August 2004. It is accompanied by a fitted box, additional case back, COSC certificate and Certificate of Origin within a leather folio.
This is one of the cleanest and most understated looking complicated watches I have ever seen. The case is 35.5 mm in diameter and made out of 18k pink gold. It’s in decent shape and the dial is like new with original hands. It’s white porcelain with applied 18K rose gold Breguet numerals, outer dot minute indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Rose gold Breguet hands.
The movement is Cal.RTO 27 PS, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium- plated, fausses cotes decoration, 28 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator with 3 equidistant steel arms under a polished steel bridge, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung over-coiled balance spring, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
The auction estimates are HKD 2,100,000 – 3,000,000 or USD $280,000 – $390,000. As per most auctions, I think this Patek Philippe will fetch over the auction estimates, Stay tuned!
