There is no doubt that the Tudor Black Bay collection has made their mark on the watch industry as an everyday tool watch that has heritage, style, class and is solid in construction. In an awesome NEW partnership, Tudor has joined forces with legendary luxury department store, Harrods of London and released the Black Bay Green.
The Tudor Black Bay Green is the third color in the Tudor Black Bay collection. Since it’s not a regular production piece and it’s exclusively available only at Harrods, it’s not listed on the official Tudor website. For all those Rolex Submariner Green fans, this will be right up your alley! The best part is the price at 2,630 British Pounds or roughly $3,500 USD’s which is a bargain! It’s the same price as the other Black Bay models. In fact it’s slightly cheaper with the exchange rate. I am being told that the green bezel on this watch looks like an army green color in some lights and an olive green color from other angles. Aside from the green bezel, the only things that are different on this watch from the standard Tudor Black Bay models; is the green tipped seconds hand and the depth rating is also written in green and has been reversed to accent the whole British thing. From the information I was given, this only comes on a stainless steel bracelet and a black hand woven nylon strap is included in the box like the rest of the Black Bay models. No special distressed strap was made for this model but the standard ones that are available on the other models will fit and can be purchased in addition. The hand woven nylon strap should have been army green in my opinion, but that’s just me!
The caseback has a Harrods engraving to further differentiate it from the other models and drive home that this is not just any Heritage Black Bay. It’s not a limited edition, however: Tudor doesn’t “do” limited editions (even the left-handed Pelagos wasn’t limited); nevertheless each one is individually numbered on the caseback and production is likely to be more exclusive than existing versions of the Black Bay. In all other regards it is the same watch: 200m water resistance; 41mm case width; screw-down crown; dive bezel; in-house automatic calibre MT5602.
This watch is to be sure to become an instant collectible cult classic! I am sure I can help you get one. Because of it’s limited nature and where it’s available I am not sure what the price will be, but Contact me HERE to help you!
