TIme and TIme again Rolex always comes out victorious. They are the King for a reason! They were just hailed as the most valuable watch brand in the world according to Kantar Millward Brown(KMB) who issues a report that ranks the world’s leading brands by their estimated brand value. The BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands,, ranks the world’s top 100 brands as brand equity. They also rank the most valuable brands in a number of target product segments like luxury.
Just to give you some perspective, Rolex is Switzerland’s best-selling brand as far as revenue. Until recently, it was also the world’s best-selling watch brand by revenue. This title is now taken by Applle. Because Rolex is a private company they do not release sales information. Swiss analysts estimate its annual sales at roughly $5 billion.
What makes this even more interesting is that Rolex is not even on KMB’s Top 100 brands. However, Rolex does make take the number 5 spot on KMB’s Top 10 luxury Brands list. Please see pictured below. BTW, Prada is the only brand on this list that doesn’t make watches. So when you look at the other brands on this list it’s clear that Rolex is the most valauble watch brand in the world with a vailue of 8.532 billion dollars. They are the only brand on that list who’s soul perpose is to make watches. Congrats to Rolex. They never cease to amaze me!
