Following the success of the Tudor Black Bay One for Only Watch in 2015, Tudor has released the Tudor Black Bay One Bronze Lefty for Only Watch for 2017. You can read my review of the Tudor Black Bay One, HERE . For this one of a kind unique piece, Tudor have combined two elements of watches that they have recenly produced, The Black Bay Bronze and the Left Handed Pelagos. Just as the Tudor Black Bay Bronze is 43mm in case diameter, so is the NEW Black Bay Bronze One Lefty for Only Watch. Tudor have done an amazing job in the last four year since their highly anticipated relaunch in 2013 to speararte themselves as their own brand. They are NO longer being preceived as the “Poor Mans Rolex”.
The NEW Tudor Black Bay One Bronze Lefty is 43 mm in case diameter and is left handed. Meaning the crown is on the left side of the case not the typical right side. THe dial is Khaki green with the iconic appled numerals; 3,6 and 9 with circular appled indices in between. It’s powered by the work horse in house Tudor MT5601 in house movement with 70 hour power reserve. It’s fitted on a Khaki-green and beige fabric strap with bronze buckle and an additional aged brown leather strap with bronze buckle is included in the box. What makes this watch interesting is that it the future owner of the Black Bay Bronze One Lefty will get the once in a lifetime opportunity to visit TUDOR’s Headquarters in Geneva. This exceptional invitation for one person, a first for TUDOR which runs no visit program, will include travel expenses. The auction estimated are between $4,600-5,700. I am sure Tudor will shatter the highest auction estimate and it will fetch many times that! This watch will be auctioned off SATURDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2017, 2:30PM (GENEVA TIME)
