Frederique Constant is an affordable and accessible Swiss watch brand that started in the late eighties. They have come a long way with their evolution as a more complicated watch brand .
On May 26, 2016 it was formerly announced in a press release by Citizen watch company that they are in the midst of an agreement to aquire Frederique Constant Holding SA (Head Office : Genève, Switzerland). Under the mid-term business plan, “Citizen Global Plan 2018”, Citizen is implementing a multi-brand strategy and seeking to complete its brand portfolio by acquiring Swiss brands.
