Nobody incorporates the stylings of Bauhaus design in watches better than Nomos Glashutte. For this Baselworld 2016, Nomos Glashutte released the 33mm Neomatik. In a world where for most round is standard and expected, others look better with something more geometric like a square.
The NEW Neomatik in true Nomos fashion is clean, minimalist and straight forward. It has a 33mm stainless steel square case. boasts the NEW DUW 3001 in house movement that was released last year at Baselworld. The dial has been updated with a recessed sub seconds hand at the six o’clock position, a five minute indication on the outer minute track and shortened Arabic numerals. The dials are available in two options, galvanized, white silver-plated, cyan-blue and deep blue, green.
The price is a little spendy at $4,120 for a three handed watch with a date. At the same time when you think of how many watch brands out there that are over 4k without in house manufactured movements, this seems like a bargain!
