At Kingsley 1945 watches our objective is to offer something original, unique and well made that is built to last at very competitive prices. On behalf of Ramon Kingsley and Kingsley 1945 Watches, I am pleased to announce the release of the NEW Type II Pilot Watch.
This is our entry level price point watch and it’s completely different from the Type 1 Pilot watch in every way shape and form. This watch has a distinctive Machmeter inspired dial available in black, white and green. A Machmeter is an aircraft pilot-static system flight instrument that shows the ratio of the true airspeed to the speed of sound, a dimensionless quantity called Mach number. The cases are 43 mm in size and are available in steel, steel with bronze finish, steel with copper rose gold finish and steel with black pvd finish. Since Ramon is very particular about the design of his watches he likes to incorporate the vintage aspect of pilot guage altimeters combined with his own design language to create these unique timepieces.
On this new Type II timepiece we are using an onion style crown that is incredibly solid and well styled while keeping in line with the characteristics of a true pilot’s watch.
The movements are vintage inspired reclaimed self winding movements from the World War II era.
In my opinion the best part is that you can get into the NEW Kingsley 1945 Type II in stainless steel for $1,200, the ones with bronze or black pvd finishes for $1,300, and copper finishing for $1,500, which makes it the best value for money out there!
