Even though it wasn’t quite the Baselworld I was hoping to see from Rolex this year, they did release some cool stuff.
The Rolex Yachtmaster in Everose was the first time they released a watch on a rubber type strap known as the Oysterflex bracelet which you can read about here. This was really well received!
Another watch Rolex released that my fly under the radar for some, but not for me is the NEW stainless steel 39 mm Oyster Perpetual. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual as a whole is Rolex’s entry level price point and this new Oyster Perpetual 39 mm is the fifth case size in the Rolex Oyster Perpetual family.
I really wish they made this watch 41 or 42 mm but that’s just me. For some this is the quintessential size for a Oyster Perpetual. It’s really clean, has no date and is chronometer certified. The case is polished with a domed bezel and it comes on a brushed Oyster bracelet. The NEW Oyster Perpetual 39 mm comes in a slue of NEW dial colors which makes this modern yet classic. The hardest part of buying a NEW Rolex watch today is finding something versatile for under 6k, and this is it at $5,700!
