In carrying on with its partnership with Ducati, Tudor has released a new Fastrider Blackshield Chronograph.
This NEW watch is inspired by the distinctive sporting elegance of the new Ducati XDiavel, Tudor launches a new matte black and white version of the Fastrider Black Shield. Fastrider was originally created in 2011 to mark the partnership between Tudor and Ducati, becoming the technical and sporty Tudor line dedicated to the world of performance motorbikes.
The case is 42mm and made out of matte black ceramic. It has a fixed matte black ceramic bezel with engraved tachymetric scale, an AR-coated sapphire crystal, and offers water resistance to 150 meters. The chronograph pushers and crown are black PVD steel.
The movement is the Swiss automatic Tudor caliber 7753 (base ETA) with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 46 hours. The dial is black with luminescent hands and markers. It’s fitted on a black leather or rubber strap with folding clasp and safety catch in black PVD steel.
Generally I am the biggest cheerleader in the world for Tudor Watches. I am not a fan of this watch. I think the whole black ceramic watch thing is overplayed and really starting to bore me. I am sure there are plenty of fans of this watch. To each their own. It’s just not for me!
