In my opinion, Longines makes some of the best products out of all of the brands owned by the Swatch Group.
They just released the NEW twenty -four hours mono-pusher chronograph in two variations. One with a silver dial with contrasting silver blued hands and a black chapter ring and the other with a black dial with contrasting rhodium hands and white chapter ring. This is a a re-issue of an earlier pilot’s watch and displays the time on a twenty-four hours scale. The case is an impressive 47.5 mm in size and constructed out of stainless steel.
This movement is proprietary to Longines and is a Swiss automatic with an ETA base and a 54 hour power reserve. It is a mono-pusher column-wheel chronograph. The case back is solid and bears the hour glass symbol which is the oldest logo still in active use in its original form in the international registers of the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
The size, functions and contrast on this watch are just amazing! Considering it’s a chronograph with a 24 hour dial, its quite clean, concise and understated. This watch has old world charm which is executed in a modern day way all for the price of $4800.
