Vacheron Constantin just released the very elegant, sophisticated complicated and stunning Patrimony Traditionnelle World Time Collection Excellence Platine . This watch is limited to 100 pieces for the world and has a 42.5 mm case made out of the most noble metal of platinum.
What makes this watch so special is that watch is self-winding and displays 37 world time zones including those offset by a half-hour or a quarter-hour thanks to Vacheron Constantin Calibre 2460 WT which is protected by three patents: for the indication of 37 time zones, for the day/night indication, and for crown-operated adjustments.
In addition, Moscow will be changing its time zone on October 26, 2014. It is presently 3 hours ahead of Geneva, and it will change to two hours ahead. The Platinum World Time will display this change.
Until now, this watch was only available in 18K pink gold. This watch is entirely constructed out of platinum with a platinum Hallmark at the 4’oclock position. The case, dial, hands and stitching are all platinum which is a significant upgrade from the original 18K pink gold version.
Unlike other limited edition speciality pieces, this fantastic new complicated work of art will be available at authorized retailers world wide. Normally a watch like this would exclusively available at Vacheron Constantin Boutiques only and will retail for $98,500
