In my opinion, Zenith makes one of the best and most reliable chronograph movements in the world!
Zenith a brand owned by LVMH, is now under the direction of legendary vision and accomplished creator, Jean-Claude Biver. It was officially announced on Sunday June 1, 2014 that Zenith will be making a 1969 El Primero Chronomaster tribute to the iconic brand the Rolling Stones in a 250 piece limited edition. The annoucement came from longtime Director of LVMH watch division, Jean Claude Biver who is a big fan of the Rolling Stones and Tom Bennett, Chief Executive Officer for Bravado, Universal Music Group’s global music merchandising division.
The watch is made out of stainless steel and is 42 mm in size, has a sapphire crystal front and case back. The dial resembles the original sunburst silver, but features a special decoration dedicated to the Rolling Sones, their emblematic “tounge” on the 6 o’clock sub-dial. The case-back ), is a sapphire crystal engraved with this same tongue inscribed with “The Rolling Stones Edition” The movement is the iconic and robust in-house El Primero movement with a 50 hour power reserve. The strap is black alligator with rubber lining and a stainless steel triple folding clasp.

Crystal- It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is
water resistant- 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Zenith in-house caliber El Primero 4061 with 31 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. It features Côtes de Genève decoration.
Dial- resembling the 1969 original model in sunburst silver, features a special decoration dedicated to the Rolling Sones, their emblematic “tounge” on the 6 o’clock sub-dial.
Strap- black alligator leather strap with rubber lining and a steel triple folding clasp.
