The San Francisco internationally renowned Symphony was recently a part of a private dinner by invitation from Breguet US President Mike Nelson at the Swatch Tourbillon Boutique in San Francisco.
Not only was the San Francisco Symphony in attendance for the private dinner but this was the first time ever that the San Francisco Symphony performed at a timepiece retail venue including the first movement of Beethoven Serenade, Op. 8 and last two movements from Mozart Divertimento, K.563.
Sakurako Fisher, President, San Francisco Symphony stated “We’re delighted to be at the boutique to celebrate the success of our special event leadership, which raised significant funds to support the Symphony’s education and community programs. “
Over it’s impressive 239 years in watchmaking history, Breguet has been on the wrists of classical musical masters including pianist Arthur Rubenstein and composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.
They continue to bring this passion in their watches like the “La Musical” timpeice which plays “Badinerie,” by Johann Sebastian Bach.
