This Friday, May 30, 2014, Swiss high end watch maker, Armin Strom will be unveiling their Royal Flush Trourbillon in 18K rose gold at a private event at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel of Las Vegas. This one of a kind hand engraved show piece is an incredible example of their passion and commitment to open worked skeletonized movements. I am extremely grateful to be a part of this incredibly exclusive event featuring some of the best watch makers in the world including Armin Strom.
The Armin Strom Royal Flush Tourbillon is made out of 18K rose gold and has a 43.40 mm case. The functions include hours, minutes, small seconds and Tourbillon at the 9 o’clock position. The movement is the in-house ARMIN STROM calibre ATC11 movement with double going barrel’s and 10 day power reserve. When the watch is reversed it displays a Royal Flush on the movement side which is of course very appropriate for Las Vegas and to kick of the JCK watch and Jewelry show for 2014 which starts May 30 and end June 2. To compliment the 18k rose gold case, the watch is fitted with a brown alligator horn back strap with 18k double fold clasp and is supplied with an additional brown rubber strap.
I am excited to see this watch live in the flesh behind close doors. I am sure I will have pictures and a full report of how this horological evening unfolded, stay tuned!
