To honor Henry Ford’s contribution to America’s history of innovation and industry, Shinola launched a limited edition pocket watch on Friday, 8/24/14.
This pocket watch is constructed out of polished stainless steel and is 49 mm is diameter. The dial is black with all 12 Arabic Numerals and indices in between printed in cream. There is a sub seconds hand at the three o’clock position and it’s fitted on a metal chain. The watch is quartz and Henry Ford’s signature is on the side of the case. The watch is limited edition of 1,000 pieces and comes with a leather fob and is accompanied by a wooden stand, leather pouch, collectors book and custom gift box.
Very rarely do we see pocket watch that are good looking and affordable. This fits both criteria. The only thing I wish was that this watch had a mechanical movement.
