The Lange & Sohne Lange 1 came out in 1994 and took the world by storm with this incredible timeless design which is a symbol of German watchmaking at its finest till today.
The NEW Lage 1 Tourbillon Handerwerkskunst is a limited edition of 20 pieces for the world and is constructed out of platinum, the noblest of all metals. Like the original Lange 1, this watch is 38,5 mm in size. has the patented outsized date between the 1 o’clock and 2 o’clock and the 72 power reserve indicator and hours minutes and new 1 minute tourbillon function with stop seconds.
This incredible patented stop seconds function patented by A Lange & Sohne in 2008 allows for watches with tourbillon functions to be stopped and set with one-second accuracy which is integrated in the Lange 1 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst.
The movement is the German hand-wound Lange in-house caliber L961.3 with 51 jewels (including 2 diamond endstones), 7 screwed gold chatons, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 72 hours.
It is decorated and assembled by hand; precision-adjusted to five positions; three-quarter plate made of untreated German silver; steel tourbillon cock specular-polished on the dial side; intermediate wheel and crown-wheel cocks as well as tourbillon bridge on the movement side in German silver, engraved by hand.
