Debethune is probably the only watch company that makes hyper modern and technical watches that I like. They finish and execute their watches so incredibly well, how can you not like what they do.
For this SIHH 2014, De Bethune gives us the Dream Watch 5. At first glance, you feel like you must be a member of the Star Ship Enterprise to wear a watch like this. Then you look at it a little longer and realize the functionality, quality and simplicity are completely revolutionary an unmatched.
The new De Bethune Dream Watch 5 has a 49 mm wide and 39 mm long Delta curve shaped case in mirrored and polished titanium and is fitted with the in house DB2144 hand wound 5 day movement . The watch uniquely displays a jumping hour window at the three o’clock position which also has a jeweled crown with a one carat cabochon cut ruby. To the right of the jumping hour is an analog rotating minutes hand, while to the left of the jumping hour is a spherical moonphase indicator which is accurate to a degree of one lunar day every 1,112 years.
This watch is for any collector who is looking to break through the barriers of a classic complicated watch in the most modern and technical way with true simplicity and refinement.
