Yesterday was a great day for super cool watch brand Panerai. They officially opened their doors at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The boutique is any bit as bold yet modern, chic yet historic, incredibly visible yet intimate and small as all their other boutiques around the world.
I remember when the first boutique opened in Beverly Hills, it was astonishing that such a small brand with big ass balls made such a giant move in carving themselves in Beverly Hills. Now we leap 7 years ahead with the Las Vegas Boutique being their seventh boutique in the US, it’s remarkable what this brand has accomplished growing at such a rapid rate, even with the downturn of the economy with opening one boutique a year for the last 7 years.
Panerai as you may or may not know is owned by the Richemont group which owns the best luxury watch brands in the world like Cartier, IWC, A Lange & Sohne , Piaget and Baume and Mercier to name a few. I predicted years ago that these brands would all have vertical integration by opening their own doors to control distribution, pricing and promote brand awareness. Panerai has been a true visionary at the forefront as all the other brands are following suit. It amazes me how in this time they have maintained their relevancy, history, collectibility and exclusivity all at the same time.
Their is finally a place in Las Vegas where Panerai enthusiasts, collectors and fans can go and get the entire Panerai experience.
